Our Shift from Classroom to Mentorship Lab
Founded in Pune in 2012, CACTS began as a traditional training institute. However, we quickly realized that standard batch-based classrooms and paper completion certificates were a commodity that left students unprepared. In 2016, we pivoted entirely, shutting down mass-batch schedules to build Pune's first dedicated 1-to-1 Virtual Software Mentorship Lab.
Our core mission became clear: bypass generic lecture factory systems entirely. Instead of listening to slides, we pair each candidate with a working software developer mentor. You write code on a screenshare, commit changes to live git repositories, and receive line-by-line feedback. We measure graduation by active GitHub contribution graphs, not paper certificates.
