1. How We Handle Your Information: Prospective Leads vs. Enrolled Students

We separate information processing into two clear stages based on how you interact with us:

Stage 1: Prospective Leads & Demo Applicants

  • Information Collected: Full Name, Mobile Phone Number, Email Address, Experience Level or Student Status, and Skill Assessment Quiz responses.
  • Why We Collect It: To schedule your free 1-to-1 virtual demo session, provide course guidance, and communicate with you directly on WhatsApp (+91 96655 66357).
  • How Long We Keep It: Kept for a maximum of 180 days from submission or until you ask us to remove it, after which lead records are securely deleted.

Stage 2: Enrolled Students, Interns & Certified Alumni

  • Information Collected: Full Name, Enrollment ID, Course Track, Attendance/Completion Records, GitHub Code Staging Repositories, and Certificate Verification payloads.
  • Why We Collect It: To deliver 1-to-1 live developer training, evaluate your project code, issue accredited completion certificates, and maintain public verification entries on verify.html.
  • How Long We Keep It: Kept permanently for credential authentication and employer verification, subject to your right to request unlisting or deletion at any time.

2. Your Privacy Rights

You have full control over your personal information:

  • Right to Access: Ask us for a summary of the personal details we hold about you and who we share them with.
  • Right to Correct: Request updates or corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete details.
  • Right to Delete: Ask us to delete your personal details when they are no longer needed.
  • Right to Unlist Verification Credentials: You have the right to request the unlisting, privacy masking, or complete removal of your certificate records from our public verification portal (verify.html) at any time by emailing cactslearn@gmail.com.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Revoke your permission for us to process your data at any time.
  • Right to File a Grievance: Raise any privacy concerns with our designated Privacy & Grievance Officer.

3. Hosting & Service Provider Disclosures

Our website is hosted on GitHub Pages (operated by GitHub, Inc. / Microsoft Corp.), which serves as our hosting service provider. Basic web server logs (such as IP addresses, web request headers, and browser types) are processed by GitHub Pages solely to deliver website pages securely, protect against cyber attacks, and maintain server health. CACTS does not use tracking cookies or third-party behavioral analytics tools.

4. Protection of Minors & Children

CACTS does not knowingly collect personal details from anyone under 18 years of age without explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian. If an applicant is under 18, parental consent is required before submitting information on our website.

Our Response Timelines & Escalation Right:

  • Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
  • Target Resolution: We aim to resolve all requests within 30 days.
  • Maximum Response Time: All requests are finalized within a maximum limit of 90 days.

Data Protection Board of India (DPBI) Escalation Right: If you feel your privacy concern has not been satisfactorily resolved by our Privacy Officer within the resolution timeframe, you have the right to submit a complaint to the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI).
